That goal was worth the price of admission for the entire season.

From my angle, just behind the LAG bench, I saw Ruiz blast that high volley into the side netting, and I couldn't believe it.

He slammed that ball so fudging hard, I thought I saw flames shooting out from it.

The shot had a beautiful curve to it, and the keeper (Busch) dove wildly, although I doubt that he saw more than a flash - - kind of like when the shadow of 747 goes over you, you know something extremely fast just happened, but it's over before you even knew it was happening.

Anyway, Profiled was in the seat behind me, we just high-fived, and celebrated what I think is the goal of the year, and certainly a goal that I will remember for the rest of my life.

*sniff sniff* ....it was just so f*****g beautiful!

    You're gay.

But it was a great goal, the amazing part is how wide open he got himself.

Galaxy, if not MLS, goal of the year (so far).

Gotta give Moreno major props on the cross to Fish for that one. I was right behind Al as he recieved it and knocked it over...you could see it was perfectly placed for Fish to just slam home. Goal of the season!

I didn't know the G's website had online clips but if they don't have it, try MLSNet.com in a couple of days or in a week. Ruiz's goal is too sweet of a thing to pass up.

in thier game summaries the used to have clips of all the goals (for and against) in quicktime. the quality sucked, but at least they were there.

Try LA-Soccer.com. I saw a news reel of it there and it might be still up.

So... Ron is still up and operating. Been a long time. Wonder if he could be induced to stand and shout with LARS?

Apparantly he's never heard of us. At the US-Germany viewing at Staples, one of us met him and talked with him and when told about LARS, Ron said he never heard of us. So he's either lying, deaf and blind or not even at the games to know.
