Well our good friend General Boykin seems to be the first one who has finally come up with a legitimate reason why Bush is our president despite the actual votes counted in 2000. "Why is this man in the White House? The majority of Americans did not vote for him. He's in the White House because God put him there for a time such as this."
Finally, liberals like Finnegan and Loney get closure. And everyone else who can't swallow the obvious explanation - "he got enough electoral college votes"
just out of morbid curiousity, why is everyone who thinks bush is flying piece of garbage automatically a liberal? i think the word you are looking for is 'realist'
He sure did! And I, like the good General, would like to thank the Judeo-Christian God for puttin' us in position to ensure those electoral college votes went to the most God-fearin' born again HARD man I know...my 'bro!
Yes... Now remind me, how'd he get those Florida electoral votes. Here in Colorado our philandering, born again, Texan, family values, governor whose wife just threw him out of the house for skirt chasing went ahead and redistricted the state illegally so we don't have to deal with messy elections now, where any god damn candidate might win. Bush needs to rethink this on a national level. He only has so many brothers. Maybe he can unilaterally assign more electoral votes to Texas and Florida. Oh yeah, back on topic, I can't believe this guy said that, maybe he'd been drinking. Even the evangelicals don't believe that right?
God did make it plausible. He invented a breed of liberal too stupid to even vote. He needs some laughs, too, you know.
ya know it wasn't all about chads dingle... some of those ballots were misleading and illegal - and again, i remind you that it was not only democrats who had their votes miscast... not that you are much interested in reality... besides, it's mighty tough business on you continually ridiculing a bunch of senior citizens - ever seen them drive? it IS tough for some people to vote properly then, isn't it?
