Personally, I think it's silly how they interrupt the regular season with these Cup matches, but hey, what do I know? I probably won't watch/listen (I'm at work) but I thought I'd start the thread anyway for those of you who want to discuss.

Looks like Stubbs will sit this one out. He has a light calf strain from last week's match and Moyes wants him to rest for the upcoming one against Aston Villa this weekend. Yobo will likely get the start. It will be interesting to see him in action, as he's been warming the bench most of the season so far. No other changes.

Can't find a video link right now. I'll post match highlights after the game, as always.

I'm almost positve its 3pm ET, 2pm CT. But go Toffees regardless! A deep cup run would just be icing on the cake for this season so far.

Preston have already knocked off Leicester, so they shouldn't e taken lightly. However, word is that the likes of James McFadden, Nick Chadwick, and Richard Wright will get the nod in order to give the regulars a break.

FT. 2-0 Everton. Goals from Carsley and Bent, with Carsley getting a red card. Well done boys!

A nice, tidy win and we got some of the reserves a run-out. A much more convincing performance compared to the last round.

Our reward? A trip to Highbury ... uff-da. We'll see whether Wenger decides to stay with his reserves or actually start taking this competition seriously.

Arsenal eh? Well, it could be worse ... wait a minute, no it couldn't. Oh well, I guess we'd have to beat them at some point.

wenger is going to stick with the kids. Which isn't a bad group of players. Maybe Clichy will be back by then to strengthen the defense.

I don't doubt there's quality in the Arsenal reserves, but you'll understand if I like our chances a little better going up against Danny K and the Soup-Chuckers as opposed to Henry, Vieira and co.
