    Here is just an example.

And I also heard Spanish language networks are booming in USA.

Would this give these TV executives a hint?

When was the last time La Opinion printed something accurate about MLS or the Galaxy?

    Interesting article.

Didn't either Rumsfeld or Cheney recently suggest that al Jazeera was ought to be banned in the US? (I can't recall which; they sort of meld into one uber-curmudgeon in my mind).

Anyway, I've watched the International Channel here in the US more in the past year or so, and I've found that the French and German news broadcasts (the only two which I understand) often offer valuable perspective. I try to watch Al Jazeera as well, but I don't speak arabic and now they rarely show it in favor of other arabic programming. In any case, the pictures are interesting; you can sort of tell how they're framing stories. Same for the Japanese news broadcasts, interesting collection of images.

Probably this has something to do with the substance of news reporting. If US media provides the processed cold cuts, then the foreign media provides the whole chicken. US media feeds you quicky fast foods, foreigners give you a well-cooked meal.

Here is Germany, the news is so slanted against Bush. If Bush solved poverty, the German press would still demonize him.

Slanted against Bush? Probably that is true in the whole Europe. But he deserves it.
