Watched the debate on that obviously anti-truth network Fox and saw the same things that we always see when the Democrats get together...bashing. Yes they bashed Bush, they bashed each other, hell they probably wanted to bash themselves. Imagine a world where a Democrat said something productive, not just bashing. Hell, Al Sharpton even sounded intelligent amongst all of the typical negativity. Vey sad stuff. Now all you liberals be carefull not to get your panties in to big a bunch, because if you go back everything I said is true! MAke all you dumb arguments, bash me, bash Bush...and prove it again, fall in line!

Truth about the Bush record is always negative.

That's not my line -- it was said about GW the first by someone in the Clinton campaign -- but it's still devastatingly accurate.

What I want to know is: Did Lieberman manage to avoid getting booed this time?

Best part concerned Kerry, who voted for the war but against the $87 billion financing of it, knocking Lieberman, who properly voted for both.

Here's how the NY Times reported it:

Mr. Kerry, in defending his vote after Mr. Lieberman questioned it, noted that he had served in Vietnam--and that Mr. Lieberman had not.

"Well, Joe, I had seared in me an experience which you don't have, and that's the experience of being one of those troops on the front lines when the policy has gone wrong," he said. "And the way you best protect the troops is to guarantee that you put the troops in the safest, strongest position as fast as possible. Our troops are today more exposed, are in greater danger, because this president's been unwilling to share the burden and the task."

Mr. Lieberman responded: "This is about the votes that he's cast that I believe are inconsistant. In fact, what do we look back and wonder about our time in Vietnam? We didn't support our troops. If everyone had voted the way John Kerry did, the money wouldn't have been there to support our troops."

Mr. Kerry visibly stiffened at that.

You can't quote Bush verbatim. If you do, it's called "mudslinging".
