With USA vs. Cuba coming up I was wondering what had happened to Colorado's cubans and where they are now?!

    Thanks!

That was the lucky one. At least he's still doing something on grass.

Rey Martinez is playing for Rochester in the USL, and Alberto Delgado is playing for Puerto Rico in the USL. Google guys, Google.

You can tell how attached we as a fan base were to these guys when we we're too lazy to even google them...

Two former Rapids celebrate a goal (Vallow and Martinez)

Couldn't find many stats on Martinez on the Rhinos website, but he must be doing ok there.

Couldn't find any definitive stat page and I don't have the time to page through all the game reports to find out what Martinez has done, but I did see a post on the rhinos forum praising Martinez for his pace and skill (at least in comparison to other players on the team...)

I was impressed with him in the early part of the season. He showed good skills and awareness on the field. Then at the Rapids/Reserves game he looked great, he was all over the field making things happen. It was during that game he got hurt. When he came back he was totally ineffective. I don't know whether it was lingering affects from the injury or his real talent was exposed.

Another fine example of our franchise providing second divisions with quality players.

Not if they want to live to see their midlife crisis.

Cool. I still don't believe they would have helped this team this year. They were pretty average players with average ball handling skills like Denton.

(We are starting that bozo so who knows.)
