    Both threads are great.

    What's a TNS?

It's either the corporation Total Network Solutions, or the abbreviation for the Welsh city of Tvrghhneixht Ngrneville Sghrwhmp

While Liverpool will be bringing another CB or 2, Whitbread certainly has a chance this preseason to play himself into the match day squad. Any injury and he is in line for some time.

For those of you unfamiliar with Welsh, that is pronounced 'Springfield'

Such a cynic... I predict he will play 15 minutes of the second leg once 'Pool are 10-0 up on aggregate. THEN, he will begin his season of watching games... ;)

No Whitbread today. I'm sure he warmed up on the sidelines though.

Every time I hear the English radio crews read the Welsh scores, I hear this: "And they'll be dancing on the streets of Total Network Solutions tonight."

Well, not tonight, I guess, though 0-3 at Anfield is hardly a shame for a club of that size.

I hear Whitbread doesn't even have to pay for his season ticket. What a steal too, right there on the Liverpool bench.
