Thx, Jay!
Won at home, drew away on final match day last season. WBA is 3rd in Div. One. This could be tough if Sir Bobby doesn't play the A-Team. Thx, Jay!
We shoulda beaten Bolton at home in the league this year. Or perhaps more to the point, we shoulda beaten Wolves in this competition last year.
As long as teams continue to play 10 behind the ball, the lads have to prove they have the patience to overcome it.
Umm... As Jay said, if Newcastle play the "A team" then the Mags should win. But the Toon only won 2-1 last year and drew at The Hawthorns. So I would expect a close game. As an Albion fan, I can tell you we've shored up the back line... so I would expect no walkover. If Robson puts out a weaker side just because it's the Carling Cup, this match could get quite interesting.
You only 'won' at home because the ref gave you a very dodgy freekick for a pass back when the ball basically bounced off the defenders leg.
NUFC Flying to matches Sorry, I know it's the wrong thread, but I just wanted to see if you folks knew which domestic matches Newcastle usually flies to. Thanks
