I'll have to tape it............since I'll be sitting in the North Bank in person during the match. Sorry, not trying to gloat. Just excited about my first trip to Highbury.
have a great time, it's even better than you think the first time. BTW, can you pick up a copy of the 2003/4 handbook for me at Highbury?
You have EVERY right to gloat. I went to Highbury twice last season...at least I got to see Pires and Pennant's hat-tricks. It's amazing. Enjoy every moment of it, cause it does seem to go by faster than when you're at home. Gotta go...the girl in the singles ad to the left(if you can see her too on your PC)is REALLY messing up my concentration...
Umm, Martin? I've got an ad promoting the MLS game of the week, or something. Columbus vs. NY/NJ. If that's causing you to lose your concentration, then you need help, and fast!
OK, Dallas guys, this is our chance. Everyone who can either sneak out of work (or school) on that Friday, or have the luxury of working from home so no sneaking is needed, needs to meet up for this one. 1:00PM start, game finished by 3. We can either beat traffic home or we can stay through happy hour and celebrate what should be an Arsenal vistory. Who's in and where are we going?
My top two choices are Londoner and Trinity Hall. No conflicts with other games and its on free TV so both should be showing it. www.londonerpub.com www.trinityhall.tv
Good news and bad news. bad news: The guy from England who supports newc won't be there. good news: I will.
Yeah, I had to pick my brother up from the airport at 4, so I watched the 1st half live at home and PVR'd the second. Good turnout today?
Me and ArsenalTexan3...plus one other Arsenal guy. A Newcastle guy showed up in the 70th min. Not many people at the pub at all.
Prolly b/c of the starting time, eh? Not that many folks can take two hours out of the middle of the day. I can';t remember a Friday afternoon game like yesterdays for Man Utd - is it common?
