I would like to extend an invitation to ALL DC United supporters to join the Screaming Eagles at their final tailgate at RFK for 2004.

Members AND non members can join us in lot 8 (look for the SE canopies) beginning at 5 pm-6:30 pm for ALL-YOU-CAN-DRINK/EAT keg beer/soft drinks and burgers/dogs (veggie and non) and a wild assortment of sides and desserts.

Tickets can be purchased via paypal at payments@screaming-eagles.com (please indicate how many tickets you want in the notes section, if you're a non members say you're a guest of Kim). Tickets can be picked up at the SE treasury table in lot 8.

    SE members-$6
    Non members $8

All ticket requests and payments need to be received my 4 pm, Friday Nov 5 (we cannot accept cash on-site, sorry RFK rule).

This is going to be one final HUGE blast before LA so hope you all can join us.

If you have questions, contact me at kim@screaming-eagles.com

Damn! WHY did I have to plan two months ago for a camping trip this weekend? :(

Good luck to the SEs, the Barra, the Norteños, and to the team. Send them off to LA rocking, folks.

$8 for all you can drink? That is a great deal. If I could make it I would be there.

I'm as genuine a dirt-lovin-bunny-hugger as you'll find, but camping?!? I'm sure you've got all sorts of plans in place and it would be tough to back out at this point, but camping?!? OK, it's unfair for me to judge your plans and priorities, as they are your own, but camping?!? I could see if you had planned to flee the country to France pending election outcomes, but camping?!? Maybe you have a $15 deposit on the prime spot in the nicest ground...but camping?!?

    I'll stop now. I kid.

    Cheers,
    Tim

Hope the camping is far away from RFK. I've found that camping is a guaranteed way to bring on rain :(

The living in Charlottesville part is not what's keeping me from going to the game. I'll actually be in Phillidelphia this weekend.

Conveniently, DC is right in between Charlottesville and Philly.

With all these extra folks, will there be two kegs? ;) Or will we have to drink very fast? It seemed we didn't usually finish the kegs before the games, but the last two games, we have (and fairly early, last week)!

We discussed two kegs (that's a lot of beer even for us) but we'll have enough.

With all the build up you're doing, anything short of you arriving via boat is going to be disappointing.

Hopefully there's enough, her father has stated a couple times he wants to make sure we get there early so he can get his money's worth :p.
    He's a very strange man.
