I have some videos here of inductions if you want to check them out:

    Part 1

    Part 2

    Part 3

    Part 4

    Part 5

    Part 6

It's a little choppy, but I did my best. Includes Mia, Julie, Alan, Bobby, guests, and some funny girls in part 6.

In complete honesty - I don't remember. My tape started just after he was introduced. I believe he may be the chairman, since the president speaks after him, but I am not positive.

It was not a clear video and plus my eyes are going.

I think he had a Bostonian accent? There was a color commentary announcer who i thought was great I can not remember his name. I thought that may have been him.

I guess people did not like him because he spoke "High Brow" English. He knew the game he must have had a coaching license by some of the things he said.

He spoke a lot about defensive shape. TV produces did not want the color people getting too technical because they mistakenly thought it would confuse the newer soccer people watching the 1994 WC here for the first time.

He did some of the games in the 1994 WC. One game he did was the Dutch v Brazil game. Romerio struck a half volley from a cross into the far corner side netting. What a beautiful goal that was.

This guy called that goal "Sheer Eligance",
and it was. Sometimesour game deservers "High Brow" language to discribe it. This was one of those times.

Even though I just can't remember his name. I think his real job back then or before he worked for Harvard university. He would help make the transition for foreign students comming into the country going to Harvard easier for the student.

When he left announcering I stopped listening to announcers. When I watch games on cable now I turn down the sound altogether and listen to Doors CDs while watching games.
