Can you send me the link or story that has this list?

Frank, I have heard from several people that Gama was not even the best player on the U17 team this summer.

not the best but one of the best, and the most important the youngest, , the best was the Benfica midfielder Curto

did you see what Gama did in the qualifier's two weeks ago against Germany

Manuel Courto from Benfica very high on him excellent talent. Keep i mind everyone that Gama was 14 when he played in world cup so he was playing up 3 yrs. Where do you find the room for all these great midfielders. Quaresema, Ronaldo , Courto , Macado . Gama . Vianna. Also one thing that worries me Portugal has never really had a game breaker playing at striker ie henry or a vanistelrooy. Ricardo Vaz Te is this guy. But he is in England and i do not think he has everyplayed for Portugal. He might be influnced to play for England and what a diaster that would be.

Scolari just called 5 youth players to workout with the Portuguese A team
    Sabino [Sporting]
    Diogo Andrade [Belenenses]
    Samarra [Alverca]
Tiogo Santis and Joao Coimbra [Benfica]

I don't care much for Henry, don't think he will make any of the three big teams in Portugal,
Nistelrooy, we got Nuno Gomes much better, he needs to stay healthy, check the goals by Nistelrooy with Holland, and Nuno Gomes in Portugal, if Nuno Gomes plays for Manchester United he score's at least 20 goals

Vaz Te can NOT play for England. He is a Portuguese citizen, and he has appeared for Portugal in youth national tournaments, so he is cap-tied to Portugal. Furthermore, I can imagine why he want to play for England. He is playing in a league (and for a club) that will enable him to develop his skills more rapidly than if he were in Portugal.

One more thing – technically what you said about Portugal not ever having a game-breaking striker is wrong. There was a certain striker named Eusebio who was not too bad in his day, was he, Frank????

    the second home was Beira-Mar

ask your daddy about Jose Aguas, Torres, Matateu , Hernani, all great portuguese strikers.

Jose Aguas won two European cups with Benfica and he retired at a young age, the following year, Benfica went to a third final, and lost 2-1 to Milan, if Jose Aguas was playing at striker position, Benfica would won the third cup, he was just great.

Jose Aguas retired and he barely attended another soccer game, his son Rui Aguas became the best portuguese striker in the portuguese league, playing for both Benfica and Porto,
his uncle Raul Aguas played for Benfica, in Belgium and coach in the portuguese league for many seasons.

    Frank,

    Are you feeling OK? Seriously?

Henry couldn’t make any of the Big 3 teams in PORTUGAL??????

    Nuno Gomes better than Ruud??????

Either you have been drinking ginginhas all afternoon, or you are trying to be funny, or you have completely flipped your lid.

never like Henry, not surprise when the play out of England they just like Beira-Mar
just a average player in my eyes,
Nistelrooy is good but look at the service he get's, put him in the portuguese league he score's 10 goals

It is one thing to say you don’t like the player for whatever reason, (I am not sure how you can rate a Nuno over a Ruud or Henry.) but it is entirely different matter when you start making statements (“Henry could not play for one of the Big 3 in Portugal”) that are completely wrong and without any basis in reality.

What striker that plays for a Big 3 team is better than Henry? Let’s be serious, and think of accomplishments and skills. Who?

There is nobody on Sporting who even comes close at the moment.

Porto….forget it. Derlei is very good, but he is not the same class as Henry.

Benfica….please do not say Nuno Gomes. He had a full season in Portugal last year, and was the third-leading scorer on his team (behind a defensive midfielder.)

And, by that logic, neither Raul nor Ronaldo would be able to score 10 goals in the SuperLiga.

This is just so funny. Please…..tell me you are kidding.

If you were the president of a club and made those decisions, you would be shot.

Frank, I thought you knew something about football.
