for those without espn, espn2, or espn 360, you can go to Canada's CBC and watch the games. Its pathetic people have to rely on another country to cover their national team.

    here is the link

By the way i sent ESPN a scathing email because i was so frustrated I didnt have espn2 or espn 360. you all might enjoy it too

What the hell is wrong with you people? I hate to get mean from the start but I am truly PISSED OFF. At the age of 30 I hoped women’s sports would make some progress in terms of coverage, but au contraire there is worse support today then there was 15 years ago. The women’s world cup is only once every 4 years. What’s more there are but a handful of games, which this year happen to be at god awful early times in the morning, and yet you push most of the games to ESPN 2. Here is a news flash, NOT EVERY AMERICAN HAS CABLE OR SATELLITE AND EVEN WHEN THEY DO SOMETIMES THEY CANNOT AFFORD A PACKAGE THAT INCLUDES ESPN 2. I guess the less well off Americans are left out of enjoying the play of the women’s national team. What they hell do you plan to air at 2am-5am across America which would prevent you from showing the matches live on ABC? Maybe ESPN network is better set up for the coverage, but that doesn’t prevent you from simulcasting the coverage on ABC. Is there some important new wonder mop infomercial that has a greater priority than the ONE OF THE BIGGEST EVENTS IN WOMEN’S SPORTS? I am personally going to miss more than half the US games (I at least will see a few because I do have ESPN). It seriously makes me so sick to see the pathetic attempt of coverage you have put on this year. Maybe you need to go back and rethink the type of organization you want to be. If you are going to put forward such a half-ass attempt of coverage then do the rest of America a favor and stay out of the bidding on future women’s events.
I hope maybe you will consider saving face and at least consider the simulcasting idea.
A disgusted, disgruntled and disappointed American
