I really want to say they'll take the Shield and the Cup. I think they can.

But there's been some inconsistencies this season that make me doubt that. I think they will get the Shield at least. I'm just not certain on the playoffs and the Cup. It really all depends on how things are wrapped up in the regular season.

What I meant was I don't want to make a judgement on how far the team will go in the playoffs until I see how they look through the rest of the season.

They really need to stiffen up on defense. Agoos (like Donovan) just isn't gelling with the team right now. Barret has been a rock on defense, but they need Agoos to return to 2001 form, Dayak to return, and Conrad to knock it off with the yellow cards ("The refs are clouds.")

On offense, Donovan too must return to form. He and Graziani seem way off base. However, if he can return to form it might just be the answer to the Quakes woes, and I can legitimately see them taking the MLS Cup. However, at the current time, I can see either a playoff exit or MLS Cup loss, no more.

Lots of time yet...lots of time. Give us a healthy Dayak and find a little more consistency on offense--we'll be primed for Foxboro.

    Shield and the Cup.

Quakes might slump but they won't collapse and go down to a third or fourth ranking.

They will win the regular season and grab the shield, and win the playoffs and the Cup.

Never underestimate depth on a team. If you have it, people will fill in nicely, just like how Robinson is doing.

    Cheers!

This point has been proven for the last 3 months. There's enough on the roster right now (without adding Ralston, sorry LDB) to win on any given night (or day as Saturday goes...).

Memo to Johnny Moore...buy a bigger trophy case.
