What is up with Edgar?? Seems like he does not play anymore and is one of our 3 SIs. I don't really see him too involved in pregame practice/warmups as well as seems to be by himself alot. Is he injured still or in the doghouse?? Seems like he could give us a Woly-like lift at the end of games in an attacking mode but does not get in games.

    Central Park South,
He's been on the bench since Digi has returned from injury. I would actually like to see Edgar in mid-field. He's probably the only true winger that we have. One of our biggest problems is that too many players cram in the middle of the field.

I agree. Our wing play is virtually nonexistant. I think midfielders should be a priority for the next draft with an emphasis on wingers.

Edgar can offer some nice runs going forward but he can't cross and he can't defend (And regardless of what some people think, Digi can do both of those better). If the team is going to be using a 3-5-2 now those are not two weaknesses to have if you want to play the left wing spot.

Edgar will get his chances because Digi is bound to get hurt. He's not exactly the most durable guy and there really are no other good left mid options. I guess Galvan could be decent there, he could do the running but his defense is non-existent and I'm not sure about his crossing.

    Central Park South,
I would like to see Digi stay at LB and have Edgar in mid-field. I like Lisi but again he plays too much in the middle. We could also put Ricardo Clark at DM, Lisi on the right and Edgar on the Left (sit Richie Williams). This is not a knock on Lisi or Williams, we just need a more balanced mid-field.
