Forgive me if this was answered recently. I looked through 10 pages of threads and didn't see any updates.

How is Todd Smith doing? I've seen him at the stadium a few times and at Meet the Revs. Hoping he is well on the way to recovery.

Also, I remember a while back that Michael Mejido was having some trouble. Any word on him?

I hope both are doing well. If anyone can offer insight, please do.

Mike's had a rough go of things after the transplant in terms of dealing with the anti-rejection medication, but last I heard from him his spirits sounded better and he indicated a desire to get back into following MLS more closely as a result.

Thank you for the update kind sir.

I know someone that is having trouble post-transplant (he gave a kidney to his brother). Not easy for either side. I'm happy to hear Mike's spirits are better. Hope he is well on the way to a full and complete recovery. Look forward to seeing him back on the boards often.

Last I spoke with Todd was the day after his last chemo treatment. That was a few weeks ago now. He still had one more "cycle" of down and up with his platelet counts, so I think he was looking at five more weeks until he was back to (or close to) 100%. He is in remission though, and he seems hell bent on running the marathon.

The Magpie left out the part about Mike Mejido being extremely, extremely handsome.
