Pretty intense season premiere last night, which turned out to be Part 1 of 2.

I'm glad that I saved second-season finale I recorded last Friday and watched it right before watching the season premiere so that the details for the former were fresh in my mind for the latter.

Next week: the conclusion of the season finale/premiere arc.

Great ending last night to the three-part story arc.

As the guy said, the hunted became the hunters. With the evidence the Unit now holds over the CIA, the Unit should remain operational for quite a while.

I guess all's well that ends well, except for Tiffy and Mack.

Another good episode last night, this time with the Unit stopping a cell from hitting the St. Louis Cardinals' divisional playoff game with a single-engine plane carrying a potentially-devastating nerve agent flown from a remote part of Arkansas.

Interesting episode yesterday with Jonas at home dealing with his daughter dropping out of her final year of college to enlist in the Army, with the rest of the Unit (except for Grey, who wasn't in the episode) rescuing American embassy personnel and their families in Abidjan, Ivory Coast from insurgents bent on killing them.

Pretty good episode yesterday with Brown at home helping his pregnant wife Kim and their children while the rest of the Unit (minus Grey, for the second straight episode) tracked down a terrorist "mule" at the airport in Marseille, France carrying a chip inside him with information on several terrorists and then used him to track down a terrorist cell there.

And according to the ending, things don't look too good for Tiffy's and Mack's marriage.

Another good episode this week with Jonas, Mack and Grey temporarily assigned to MP duty to escort/protect an unruly pop diva performing for troops in Iraq, with Brown involved with a bumpy Justice Department prisoner transfer, and with Williams trying to woo a strong-willed tavern waitress.

With Tiffy's and Mack's marriage seemingly on the rocks and Colonel Ryan long separated from his wife, it looks like their affair is on again.

Next week: it looks like the Unit will lose a member. :(

It turns out that the Justice Department officer that accompanied Brown was played by former Ultimate Fighting Championship title holder Randy Couture, while Lila Lee (the unruly diva) was played by American Idol Season 4 Top Twelve finalist Mikalah Gordon.

    Yikes!

I foresaw neither Hector Williams getting killed nor the LA Galaxy David Beckham poster on that boy's bedroom wall in Beirut. :(

Though it does seem like Colonel Ryan's affair with Tiffy will remain secret... for now.

An emotional episode this week featuring Hector Williams' funeral service.

It's also sobering to know that each soldier carries his/her own body bag (I'd read that somewhere before, but had since forgotten about it until watching this episode).

The preview for next week's episode didn't make it very clear what it's gonna be about, but it seems that it might have something to do with Colonel Ryan and Mack.

Interesting episode this week with the Unit infiltrating a gang in an army division that sells stolen weapons and explosives, and Colonel Ryan and Mack getting revenge on a group of college football players who sent Tiffy to the hospital.

Unfortunately, Mack seems to now know (as of the end of the episode) that there's something going on between Ryan and Tiffy.

Next week: Bob seems ethically distracted from a sniper mission, apparently causing problems in the process.

A good but somewhat intentionally (by the writers) disconcerting episode involving both Brown being haunted by the memories of those he's killed and a search by the wives into obtaining Molly's 1980 high school graduation picture that leads to the tragic revelation of her family hiding from her murderous (albeit imprisoned, for now) father.

There doesn't appear to be a new episode next week. This seems to have been the last filmed episode before the writers' strike and thus may be the "season finale", though it didn't really seem like one.

Another interesting episode involving Jonas on an undercover mission in London alongside on old MI5 friend (who's wife is also Jonas' ex-fiancee) to intercept the sale of some uranium by a Russian scientist to a terrorist, with Colonal Ryan's ex-wife manipulating Jonas to turn on the MI5 friend who she suspected of being in league with the scientist.

Also of note was radio show host Kim trying to help a suicidal army wife, and Grey reluctantly getting back with Annie despite feelings of guilt considering that she was dating the late Hector.

Next week's episode will be a repeat and there's been no indication of whether or not this was the final pre-Writers' Strike episode. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
