Steve McClaren might end up feeling like Yallop if they don't get those results.

Looked fairly innocuous. A couple of weeks out at least.

Beckham this blah blah Beckham that. The focus needs to die down, the expectations need to die down, he needs to heal ONE HUNDRED PERCENT and start a fresh next season.

what ever being wrapped is on his right leg, so now he's got two bum wheels.

This game is off the hook. Landon just carried the ball 70 yards against about 6 Pachuca defenders. End to end, it's positively throbbing right now.

Anyone else remember a couple of years ago when Beasley's leg bent in disgusting fashion, and we all figured he'd be out for the same amount of time it took Boston to record most of its albums? He missed what, two games?

We don't know anything yet. Beckham might be holding his head in his hands because -- brace yourself for the shock -- he actually cares about this team. This guy is the anti-Lothar.

I was going to say this is a tragedy to watch, but I gotta give props to Xavier. That dude is a beast tonight.

I heard a rumor that LA might sign Zidane in the 65th minute.

They can both blame Lalas then. I'm sure I know of a few reasons McClaren might conjure up. becks being one.

It looked like his knee and his demeanor did not look good. If that's a _CL injury (enter the letter of your choice) he's done for the year...guaranteed. Even a strain is multiple weeks and there's no reason to rush him when you have nothing to play for.

That's about the only explanation for playing Beckham the full 90 against Germany. BBC radio pundits had a field day with that one -- nutshell: "What was the bloody point -- we know how he plays!"

He's still on the bench---that's a good thing, right? I mean, he wasn't immediately rushed off to get an MRI or something.

Say what you will about the Galaxy but I would take Abel Xavier in a heartbeat. That guy is quality.

    + Cannon

If LA didn't have Cannon they'd be conceding 5 and 6 every game.
