The more things change... Can it be? No movement whatsoever in the Rankings http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/writers/grant_wahl/07/05/rankings/index.html
As of this week, we now have a better league record than Metros (on a percentile basis). Our record is .4569, while their record is .4567 on 290 and 289 games, respectively. I also revised the tables in my sig to include shootout losses, because I regard the league restatement of the website version official records of the 1996-1999 seasons to be a step worth meeting halfway. The tables are still sorted on percentile, but the "points" now tie to the official record. I also pulled points from the knockout competitions, since that made no sense anyway. Metros still have more points than us (362 vs 345), but in large part that is due to relative shootout performance.
LRC: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/07/06/AR2005070601876.html Apparently, Noonan is guaranteed $75,000 this year. GAM is turning a sweet $875,000 under his new contract.
