I think much closer to yellow than red, but unnecessary enough that you get a "watch your ass" talking to afterward.
Barcelona, Real and La Liga in general are nothing but a reflection of how bad Spain in general is doing. They were at the edge of the abyss and the pandemic pushed them down. It's going to take several years for the country, and its fútbol too, to recover.
When the goal clinches a spot in the Champions League final, I'm more than happy to give all three guys in the play full credit.
I"m impressed with Tuchel. Rudiger has been playing like crazy - he's just in great form - and Silva really has to be the best cb in the world when you see him playing like this. Putting those two on was a fantastic decision. Also he kept his best gun in the holster pending developments - I'm refering, ofc, to the young Croatian (hiss, boo.....easy guys, just keeeeeding)
Pulisic is just wonderful. Yeah, he gets injured a lot, and there are a couple parts of his game he could tidy up, but he subbed on and then just punked Real ********ing Madrid until the final whistle.
He played during the tournament, and the team awarded him a medal. He was not in the squad for the final.
There are no heroes in a game featuring a sportswashing regime and an oligarch from a kleptocracy, but such is my absolute disdain for City and Guardiola that I sincerely hope Chelsea win the final 7-0 and Pep finds a way to get sent off twice.
what I'd say about Spain is that the futbol is quite advanced even as you go down the table. Instead of looking at the bankbook, get some American or Europe money in there to get the prime players in there like Gio, Haaland, Aaronson, ESPN.......and they could have the best show in town.
Final count there was 3.88 - 0.52. Infogol, which a lot of people use: FT: #ChampionsLeague #UCL🔵 #CFC 2 (3.00 xG)⚪️ #RealMadrid 0 (0.48 xG)Chelsea should have put it to bed before the hour mark, but they deservedly advance. The Blues limit Real to just 3 shots totalling 0.10 xG after the break!#CHERMA shot map ➡️ https://t.co/T5RapEEZtS pic.twitter.com/AoE9wKyVHJ— Sporting Life Football (@SportingLifeFC) May 5, 2021 Pure domination from Chelsea.
