Just a word of warning to those that want to save and propagate this photo. As the copyright holder on the original photograph. I do enforce copyright on this photo. I have had it removed from multiple servers. At some point, I'll just start using lawyers.

It's amazing what you can find on the internet these days. Andy, I honestly can't find a delete button on the damned imagestation editing tools and whatnot, so I guess you'll have to ask them for help in your copyright crusude. Enjoy.

The worst they could stick me for is using copyrighted material. A simple warning and removal of the picture would do the trick.

Ah, but I'm dealing with MeridianFC...and that brings this to a whole new level..

don't you think we're taking this a bit too seriously?

It's a picture on a friggin message board, get over yourselves.

Just out of curiosity, how much would it cost me to pay you for the photo? Is it possible to do such a thing?

Also, say you didn't want to sell said photo, what about any other ones, what are the price ranges?

    Thanks.

Yeah, it's just as bad as unleashing false accusations against someone on here.

That's a tough call. I'm guessing it is more "defamatory" than "libelous". The question that came up last year, when the doctored photo first appeared, involved questions over both the "fair use" statutes of copyright law, and whether or not Aimer was a public enough figure for the picture to be considered "parody", which is a protected form of speech. Regardless of either of these concerns, it is/was a rather personal attack on another poster which clearly violates BSI's TOS.

Actually, when an individual goes out of their way to become a public person, as you have dearie, then the courts have consistently ruled that you have taken yourself out of the private arena, and are a legitimate target for, among other things, satire.

Andy is correct as far as he goes, but you are a person who has eagerly appeared on television for promotional purposes at least twice that I know of, and who posts pictures of herself on the internet on her own site and others, including sites asking people to vote on whether you look like Courtney Love.

Your face and image are things which YOU put into play, sweetheart, not anybody else.

In any case, you would have to prove that the person or persons who altered the picture intended for others to believe that you DID in fact hold up that sign. And clearly, you'd be hard pressed to find anybody simple enough to have believed it.

But either way, the whole thing begs the question: I am certainly no showbiz/PR mogul, but it is axiomatic that, when promoting onesself, exposure is exposure, regardless of the context.

Put another way, there's no such thing as "bad" publicity. You should send out a thank you note. Except of course that would deprive you of your favorite indoor activity: righteous indignation.

I thought that was her second favorite indoor activity.

and that would be? if you're referring to the whole Ben Olsen thing...there were several witnesses who backed my claims including Quakes staff. The league has dealt with it and obviously, they believe me too.

Pardon my ignorance, but if Amy now lives in California and roots for the Quakes, why is she still the "Northend Diva"?

I never mentioned Ben Olsen, you did. Which game was he suspended for such a heinous act?

I was notified today so I imagine the rest of you will find out shortly...trust me, they're not laughing.

Um, because if I change my screen name, then I lose my post count. That's hurts my Soccer Sim team. If I could change the name and not lose the count, believe me, I would've a long time ago.

Please leave me alone. All I wanted was the post removed. it's gone, case closed.

No, what you wanted was more attention.

If you wanted a thread closed, a PM or an email would have been fine. Huss, Johnny Quest and the Supermods all respond to both, and the entire thing would have been handled quickly and quietly.

And you know this very well.

But you chose to not only START A THREAD for Pete's sake, but post a freakin LINK to a thread you were claiming to want people NOT TO LOOK AT.

I've got a front window that's not as transparent as you are, tootsie. What a class act you are.

While Jesse's quite good about taking action on this sort of thing, my experience is that some of the mods tend to look the other way depending on who's involved.

I'm not going to deny that for a minute, but seeing as how the poster, Bailey8, goes around with a bullseye on his chest, and has at least one SM who would do the Happy Dance if he got run over by a bus, that's not a problem in this case.

Mostly though, this is a photo that Huss has seen before, and dealt with before, and there could be but little question what he would have done with it had he been asked privately.

Good theory, possibly true in some circumstances, but in this one, there was no doubt what was going to happen.

The only question was hwether it would be handled quietly or with as much commotion as she could muster up.

Apparently though, Ben Olsen is among the last to know. I'm sitting here watching the Revs and DC, and either Olsen is playing or they've found an amazing double.

I wouldn't have thought it possible to be any less credible than you already are. Amazing.

No, actually I just want to be left alone. I don't even live in Columbus anymore. I almost never ever post on any Crew boards. Please...just leave it be. The picture didn't need to be posted.
