Its been a couple years now. Who do you wish was QB for the Pats? I would have stuck with Bledsoe myself. The dude is a proven passer - a Hall of Famer. Brady is young and has upside but is a bit streaky (I guess all QB's can be). But I ask you: Bledsoe or Brady?
I was an avid Bledsoe man, for the reasons you stated as well as all that he had suffered for the blue uniform. I felt Bledsoe had earned the consideration of getting another chance to be the starter. That made it really hard for me to enjoy the Super Bowl run. What changed my opinion of Brady was the press conference after the Division Playoff. "So Tom, were you trying to throw the ball?" "Yeah I was trying to throw the ball. Yeah. How do you like that?" In the final analysis, I really like Drew Bledsoe but after Brady won Super Bowl MVP in the process of getting Boston its first championship parade in fifteen years, there was no way he was going to stay. It's no one's fault, it just is what it is.
