    OT: FC Basel

    Remember them? FC Basel gave DC United a beating at the Soccerplex a few months ago at the Soccerplex in Germantown.

    Well yesterday, FC Basel eliminated Celtic in the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League and qualified for the lucrative group stages.

    In today's draw, FC Basel was grouped with Spartak Moscow, Liverpool and Valencia.

    Well, lets not overlook the fact that I put more effort into eating my brussel sprouts than DC put into that midweek scrimmage.

    And who can be surprised? Celtic hasn't been any good since Larry Bird retired.

    Wow, I guess since Reyna left for the EPL Celtic didn't even have one foe to hone their skills for European competition. ;)

    Seriously though, Props to FC Basel. I'm glad we weren't the only ones they crushed, heh.
