Just heard this on tv from the head of Ajax Michael van Praag. He didn't want to officially confirm it yet, even though the announcer told him it was allready confirmed. At any rate, more likely than not, Litmanen will come back to Ajax for at least 4 months (that's what the man said) ....the fans get their wish.
The team is need of some veteran players and who better than one of the smartest players to ever play the game? This will bring a great deal of confidence to the team as well. Funny, just the other day I told my brother that he should go back to Ajax and voila!!
I think Ajax will put him back in midfield, where he belongs in my opinion. Never understood why Liverpool started using him as a striker.
