ok just found out about this player thanks to ONE, anyways he's 18, a forward and plays for Getafe in Spain, in the C side...looks like he will be called for the Under-20..any of u guys have ever heard of him..?? btw with that name i'm confused...he's arab or jewish?? link from Gatafe site http://www.getafecf.com/index.php?option=com_joomleague&func=showPlayer&p=10&pid=573&Itemid=82&lang=sp plus in Getafe plays Lucas Litch, argentinian-jewish player...would be good to see him, maybe an Israeli club would him...
Of course he's Jewish, he's name is Nes (Miracle), and he grew up in Rishon LeZion... I've never heard about him until today. Seems like a very promising young talent. In another news from Spain: Gai Assulin is training with the Barcelona team, and might even play against Valencia! I can's wait to see him with Messi...
Check This out.. The future of Israel looks bright!!! Just think about Nes, Assulin, Shechter, Golasa, Ben Sahar, Gadir, Mugrabi and many more in one team!
i think we should also call young or uncalled for their NT jewish players...like Preston Zimmerman, Andy Gruenebaum, Alexey Abramov, Karlen Abramov, Dario Cvitanich, Dean Furman or frenchie Steven Cohen...
These players are all very exciting, but we need to start developing some defenders or our entire national team will be creative attacking mids!
We will probably keep Dekel Keinan in the squad like we did with Arik Benado for practically twenty years. We have some okay defenders ala Oshri Roash etc. They simply don't command the kind of attention from the Israeli media that an attacking player does. By the way, you guys are also forgetting about that Bedouin kid in Germany. Also, does anyone have any information on the goalkeeper Gil Shohat who plays for Bonner SC in Germany that was also just called up?
Can somebody please tell me about this guy and translate the article? http://www.sport5.co.il/HTML/Articles/Article.378.51280.html And from a year ago: http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-3465956,00.html
talks about defender Nir Mansour who plays for Real Madrid Juvenil B, he was born in 1992, that Spain called him to play for them but he refused cause he wants to play for Israel and that Ohana didn't call him for the winter tournament with the Israel under-21, but already haves put an eye on him...
So Nir is a left-back playing for the Real Madrid U20B team (Juvenil B team). He could be another very exciting prospect, but what's this winter tournament that he missed out on? I believe he turns 18 in January. He used to play for Beitar? Is this like his blog or something? http://blogs.web2sport.com/nirmanzur/2008/12/12/חולם-בספרדית-פרק-2/
they should also call this kid for the under-21 Name: Samuel Scheimann Date of Birth: 3 November 1987 Club: Den Bosch (HOL) Position: Striker/Midfielder Date of Birth: 18/11/1988
Let's just open a new thread for our young boys, or perhaps changing the topic of this one... Wow I didn't knew we have a representative in Real Madrid... Did anyone see Gai Assulin like a week ago??? He was exquisite!! I bet you really soon we're going to see him with the senior team. Guardiola already knows him from last year when he coached him. Assulin and Messi together...Just imagine...
I saw it on sport5 channel, he did a slalom and assist 2 goals. It's amazing, he's exactly like Messi.
Is there a video of that? Hopefully Gai will get a senior call up this season, there were rumors he was going to a few weeks ago...
Some news on Zamir....As of a few days ago, he was called up to the u-21's to play romania u-21's in Israel. Apparently he got into the country ok, but they arnt letting him leave, because he is 18, and needs to serve in the IDF, and isnt considered an "elite athlete" like the likes of Ben Sahar and Gai Assulin are. Zamir was able to return to his club, Albacete, and said he promised he would come back to Israel soon to arrange his military service. http://www.marca.com/2010/03/05/futbol/equipos/albacete/1267816990.html (March 5) http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-3859016,00.html (March 7)
