Since McGinty was waived by DC...do you think he is going to try and win his job back in Richmond? I thought I read that the only reason he took the DC gig was because he wouldn't have to move...any truth this and if so, what are his chances of unseating Pascale?
I was really impressed this year with Pascale. He made some saves that I don't think many goalies in the A-League and MLS could have made and he topped it all of with his game winning pk strike in the rochester semi.
keep Ronnie McGinty was a good Keeper.... but after seeing Pascale this year I'd go with Ronnie hands down. I have an idea, no concrete information, just a hunch that McGinty will end up with the Mariners next year.... unless he wants to sit the bench behind Pascale.
He would be an excellent pick up for just about any team in the league next year. But we'll stick with Ronnie - he's a class act. Mike - Mariners is a good call, I hadn't thought about that, they had there fair share of goalkeeper problems last year.
Goalkeeping has also been Atlanta's achilles heel for years now. They would do well to pursue McGinty.
Some info about McGinty's future over at www.onthesidelines.blogspot.com. English Fan, I know you and Bushman are two guys who have a lot of reliable info about Richmond. Have you heard anything about this?
