I would be very pleased if someone can tell me what are the players of the old premier team are doing at this time; players like Hot Shot Peter Lorimer, Allan Clarke and Billy Bremner. That was the best team of all time and I'm sure all Leeds U fans will agree with me. I can see that Leeds United are looking good so far this season! Please keep me informed. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for both replies. It was indeed very sad to hear about the death of Billy Bremner, one of the greatest midfielder other than Zidane & Figo. That's how out of touch I was with my favourite football team until I rediscover the game thanks to the coming of Toronto FC in Canada. Keep up with all the good news from Elland Road.

    GARY SPRAKE-Keeper

Famous for his mistakes he left Leeds for £100,000 to Birmingham in 73. Retired due to a blood clot, and was banned for life from the club for accusing Don Revie of matchfixing in a Daily Mirror interview.

    NORMAN HUNTER- defender.

A ferocious tackler who made 540 appearances for Leeds. He now lives in Barnsley and makes a living on the after dinner circuit and as a summariser at Leeds games for Yorkshire Radio and BBC Radio Leeds. In the 80's he enjoyed a mixed career as a manager at Barnsley and Rotherham as well as a brief period as caretaker manager at Leeds in 1988 following the sacking of Billy Bremner and the appointment of Howard Wilkinson

    PAUL REANEY- defender

Has been coaching kids since the early nineties and now runs football schools at various holiday resorts around the country.

    TERRY COOPER - defender

His son Mark Cooper is now a manager in the Lower leagues first with Tamworth and now Kettering Town. Terry was briefly assistant manager to Billy Bremner at Doncaster, and managed Birmingham City and Exeter. He now works as Chief Scout for Southampton and is responsible for discovering talents like Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott.

JACK CHARLTON- After leaving the Republic of Ireland managers job he makes a living on the speaking circuit and as an occassional pundit.

MIKE O'GRADY- I'll get back to you on that one. He finished his playing career at Huddersfield Town

PETER LORIMER- Now Fans and media director of Leeds United under Ken Bates. He also works for Yorkshire Radio, and has a column in the Yorkshire Post newspaper. He owns a pub in the Holbeck area of Leeds called the Commercial.

MICK JONES- retired following persistent knee injuries at 30 and fell on hard times. I think he now sells sporting goods, but I'll get back to you.

PAUL MADELEY- The 'Rolls Royce' as he was known was the last real utility player in football. During 711 appearances, he played in every position apart from goalkeeper. He set up a Sports goods store in Leeds but sold up in 1989 due to health problems. He has had a tumour removed (1992) a heart attack the same year, hip replacement and was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease in 2003.

BILLY BREMNER- Died in Doncaster two days before his 55th birthday.
A supporters bar at the Stadium has been named Billys Bar in his honour and his statue is a focal point outside the ground.

TERRY HIBBITT- Only made 68 appearances for the club but did play in the Fairs Cup final (replaced by Mick Bates). He ran a pub until he died in 1994 from cancer at the age of 46.

That was the starting 11 against Ferencvaros in the 68 Fairs cup final.
Hope this helps. I'll look into the others.
