I know this is old news but I just found out yesterday (because I haven't been keeping up with MLS lately) that Juskowiak is now with the Metrostars. I thought he was the best striker Poland had in the mid 90's but his form seems to have fallen off. He was pretty good in the Bundesliga. Anyone have any idea's why he sucks now?

Juskowiak was always a striker who needed good service to score. He was a very good finisher but could never create an opportunity for himself. Basically, he's big and slow. Even when he was at his best in the Bundesliga a few years ago and scoring 10-15 goals a season, he could never manage to find the goal for Poland and quickly became unpopular w/ the national team. Besides that, he's 33 now, so he's slowing down even more and he hasn't had regular playing time for a while before moving to NY. He played for a really crap Energie Cottbus team the previous year, but usually only came on as a sub. So he's not even really match fit now, which explains why he's only been playing like 40 minutes per game.
