He is not doing well at all at Nacional but he wants to be the NT coach the only way he is going to do that is by winning in Colombia. I like the Osorio - Nacional, Torres - Millos feel they can at least bring a Sudamericano to Colombia

You guys think he will leave Nacional after the season is over? Or stay and try to keep winning titles so they have to give him the NT once Pekerman leaves?

I think he would be better off going to coach abroad and doing well to get his name out there when it comes to NT coach time. Tho I can't see us getting a inexperienced NT coach unless he goes to River and wins the Copa Lib and Sudamericana. Then goes to Europe in the next 2 seasons.

The NT job is going to be Ruedas, Bielsa or a former Brazilian or Uruguayan coach.

The Mexicans are overreacting. So far Osorio is doing well if we judge him according their results, or someone there thinks that Mexico is the favorite to win every Int'l tournament...The forgot how they struggled few years ago to qualify to the WC. In the Gold Cup he played with his B team and arrived the semis. He will be in Russia and reached the Confederations semis...So he likes to rotate, big F deal.

That 7-0 loss to Chile really turned the tide. He rotates constantly, pretty much every position and plays guys in positions that they're not accustomed to. In club play, that rotation and accommodation can make sense as clubs play a lot more games and are also together much more than NT play. It would frustrate the crap out of us if we saw him rotating out/in James and Falcao and Ospina. Otherwise, I do agree. They have lofty expectations but forget they compete mostly in Concacaf.

The lost to the only 3 good teams they played but those 3 teams are much better on paper. Croatia has a sick team and come on Best team in South America and best team in the world beating you isn't that bad. But I like that their fans are unrealistic and demand a lot. We are happy With a tie against Venezuela that lost to everyone

We're not mad because we lost to those three teams, we're mad for how we lost. Those teams have dominated the games in quite a hardcore way and that's because the horrible tactical decisions he's made, like playing against Germany without a true defensive midfielder (he didn't even bring one to the cup), improvising a CB (who isn't even among the 5 or 6 CB's in Mexico) as a FB, playing a Giovanni does Santos who is on the worst form of his career over better players like Marco Fabián and more egregious of all, leaving the team's best player (Carlos Vela) on the bench to force a CF as a winger (which is Vela's best position) for who knows why. And that kind of shenanigans are constant.

Who would want a coach that tactically cripples his teams that way game after game after game? Honestly his saving grace has been the WC qualification campaign and that has been more thanks to having the most talented roster in the region and that the teams from the area are on a downward trend.

Because you guys crippled teams in past right?

JCO should just complete his contract and never look back again. Ungrateful fan base, terrible media analysis.

    Ehhh, no.

It is one of the most talented rosters Mexico has ever had, though.

I'm not really looking to create a forum war, so I'll just say this once.

I've seen Mexico play, I know it's not the prettiest. However I don't agree with the majority of his critics, I think it has to do more with the quality of players rather than the style of play. Frankly I believe Mexico needs to keep improving on bringing in better young talent at the domestic Level to replenish aging stars.

Yes this applies to Colombia as well.

    Sincerely, Tio

this is where Mexico fans can get a bit carried away. They have ALWAYS been the best in class in their region...in fact, unlike Conmebol (who aren't the best model) and most regions, Mexico has been the only one carrying the torch for generations in their specific region.

I know he likes to rotate, I know that it's less appropriate in NT level. I myself didn't like him at the beginning. But like I said, you cannot agree with results and even though the 7-0 was awful, it was vs. a better team then Mexico. So again, he will be in the WC, he reached the Confederation Cup semi final and reached the Gold Cup semi with the B team. I don't think that he should've achieved more then that. Maybe in the Gold Cup but again, it wasn't his strongest squad, not even close. The fans and mostly the media, need to calm down. The best proof is the backup that he receives from the FMF.

7-0 is the teams fault not the coachs fault. The team just gave up after the 3rd goal and Chile kept attacking. Mexicans like Colombians have shit mentality. That Copa America we got raped by Paraguay was Pinto was shitty but also the team just spread their legs and allowed themselves to get rammed in the ass

    What an stupid example

So argentina , Brasil , Spain have shit mentality because the have been humiliated recently and in history ....by similar results

When a coach destroyed a match ,..players get frurstrated no matter his mentality or quiality

Barca and Madrid have been humilated too by bayern, between them ...so mourinho have a shitty mentality too..and Guardiola ...and cr7 , Messi , iniesta

Pd: so Messi have shitty mentality because he received 6 goals in Bolivia

In the case of Colombia, do you think that if you use Vallejo , arizala , viafara, Edixon Perea were national team players
