    Second start in a row?

Is his reinstatement into the starting lineup due to his form, injuries to others, something else?

Scally. Casper’s been like a ghost out there.

Here’s hoping he gets his second wind. Just watched and the stats bore out what I thought. He definitely did not make as many runs forward as he has. Clearly by design IMO. Many of Joe’s defensive issues over the last several weeks were due to him being overly aggressive, and being out of position on transition and scrambles on opponent breaks. Most of MG’s attacks went up the left side. Joe waited for help, stood up his player, and cut of corridors. It wasn’t as dynamic as what we saw earlier, but it was smarter. Coach is letting him learn on the job and that is great. Finish strong, learn your trade, and yor upside is high son.

Scally on in the 87th minute against Mainz, 1-1. Probably motivated by the fact that Mainz have all the momentum, hoping that the fresh legs will help change thing sup. He looks like the RWB.

Miraculous saves by Sommer - cross came from Scally's side while he was pinched in trying to stop the ball. Sommer touched it off of the cross bar and had to save it a second time. But we're still 1-1.

Scally attempts header back to the keeper - Sommer has to rush off of his line to beat an attacker to it. Probably not a great decision.

Scally steal, but can't beat the whole defense down the sideline as he transitions into attack.

Well, his biggest play was a backpass header that was only a couple feet away from being an assist to the opposing team. Other than that, confident play for eight minutes while his team had really lost the plot and might be pleased to have held onto the draw.

Scally on in the 74th, as they squeak this one out 5-1 so far.

There can't be many sweeter experiences in life than watching a Richards-less Hoffenheim get pounded.

Scally starts in a cup match against fifth division Oberarchern. Gotta love early cup matches.

Scally starts on the right. Gladbach take an early 1-0 lead in the third minute. Scally involved much earlier in the passing sequence.

Thuram scored into the lower corner after a through ball capped off a "we're much better than you" series of passes.

Excellent hockey assist from Scally. Hoffman makes a very good run down the right sideline, and Scally's pass splits defenders to find him. Hoffman rolls a perfect cross behind the defense, and Thuram beats the advancing keeper with one touch for 2-0.

You have a very strange definition of “crucial.” Mean, they’d already scored the extra point!

Scally started and has a yellow. BMG fell behind 1-0, but Hoffenheim picked up a red and Bensebaini equalized on a bicycle kick after a corner. No Che.

Scally hits the underside of the crossbar. Was a screamer. Unlucky

Gladbach needs to win this game. You can't be up a man pretty much the entire game, AT HOME, and fail to win against Hoffenheim.

After tons of trouble breaking down the 10-man side, Thuram breaks through to make it 2-1. Scally (and everyone else) was dominating possession but failing to create enough good chances, but finally got one.
