Listening to the limp wristed, blinkered, compliant, bum-licking Chief Exec of the PFA today, is it any wonder premiership players display such arrogance to laws, rules and general conventions of normal behaviour?

Of course his first priority is to keep this 250 grand a year job, but to not even acknowledge that one of his members has been a total cretin in choosing to go shopping rather than submit himself to a dope test is pathetic.
What does a player have to do in order for to earn a rebuke form arch toadie gnome Gordon?
Self-serving cowards like Taylor are serving only to heighten the detachment players have from normality.
As long as his cash is flowing who cares if a player avoids a test.

He couldnt even find it in him to state how arrogant and unworthy these knobbers are for even considering a strike.

I don't ever recall that he has ever taken responsibility for any of his players' actions, or condemned them - tho is more than keen to shift blame onto others and The FA.

Then he wants more money form the slice of the TV deal, threatens strike action - despite a huge personal wage and dubious investments, including a painting for £3million in which many art critics do not believe will ever attain half of that value in the future.

IIRC the PFA yearly subscription fee is £75 - if his company is that hard up maybe they should tap up their members in the Premiership for a % of thier wages...

The PFA do sterling work for ex-pros - health benefits, help with finances and education & training + a very generous pension scheme - though all this was acheived with his media shy pre-deccessors.
