Well next week Fulham play Newcastle. This will be a very tough match and Newcastle are doing very well especially when Souness went there as their manager. So what starting 11 would you use and what will happen next week.

I will comment more on this game throughout the week. One thing I will say is that, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I think Crossley should stay in net against Newcastle. From what I understand, he was not challenged all that much today, but the team has won two in a row. I may be the only one to think this, but I think he deserves another run out.

John should start again. Now will the Tottenham match be the one that gets Fulham back on the road to Mid Table?Last time they won against Southampton they lost against Palace and that started a 3 match losing streak.A draw next week would be great then go home and beat Chelsea.

The only thing consistent about Fulham this campaign has been their inconsistency. Will this win give them the confidence to get in the top half of the table? Will this win put them on a winning streak? Will this build the foundation tactics wise for two tough games with Newcastle and Chelsea? I do not know the answers to any of these questions right now. I hope the answers to each one are yes, but time will tell. Don't underestimate this win today. It was big!

Well, I sat down and watched the Bolton-Newcastle match yesterday morning and I must admit that I have not been that impressed with Graeme Sounness and the Magpies. While no one will question the talent on the team, the team selection and tactics are something I question a bit. While Fulham plays them at St. James' Park next Saturday, I think IF Fulham can continue to build on the last two games, they might have a chance in this game. Bolton scored on 2 set pieces. One from a great throw by Okocha and another on a free kick that was kicked around and slotted in by Kevin Davies of Bolton. Despite having legendary strikers Kluivert and Shearer up front, the attack for Newcastle was non-existent. The goal by Ambrose was a great shot, but that was all the offense. Bolton outshot Newcastle 17-3. I think Fulham have a chance this weekend. It is a very big game, but a win in possible. Did anyone else see the Newcastle match yesterday?

According to the latest soccertv.com email update I received about 5 minutes ago, the Fulham-Newcastle match will be on FSW Monday at 2PM Chicago time. This is on a one day tape delay. This weekends match is on Sunday, Nov. 7th. Judging from our luck on TV so far this year, it does not bode well for Fulham.

If our back four, especially our new ZZ top combination (Zat and Zesh), play up to last weeks peformances, we will win this match with another 2-0 scoreline. Zesh is the talk of the academy now...cookie rates him highly.

As I have said before, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I think Cookie should keep the lineup as is. 2 in a row is good for Fulham right now. Why not make it three!

It would of been much much better if Newcastle beat Bolton. Now that Newcastle lost they will want the win even more. Bocanegra can and will sometimes score off of set pieces. He has done it with the USA alot.Fulham need a good defensive match the defense needs to do well. Newcastle has 3 great players in the attack Bellamy,Shearer, and Kluivert. If a defense has a bad day then Newcastle will score as many goals as they want.It might be better to try and sit back and defend and then try and attack when they can.If Fulham can win this match then they could move up as high as 12th or 13th.

Shouldn't the team go in there with the mindset of scoring goal after goal as you always suggest? Remember, it is all a mindset!!!!

This is that one match that Fulham should sit back and defend. Newcastle is at home lost last week and has a great attack. It might be better to sit back and defend.

I don't think this is a matter of sitting back or attacking a lot, I think it is just important that Fulham continue in the way they have played the last two games. If Fulham are able to play and control the game the way they want to, I think they have a chance.

I just noticed that Newcastle is playing Dinamo Tbilisi today in the UEFA Cup. I was not sure who they were playing, but I can tell you that this team is pretty good. Thus, I am expecting a good match that might perhaps wear out Newcastle. That would obviously help us on Sunday. I think Newcastle might lose today.

Newcastle might be tired for the Fulham match. It all depends on Tbilisi. If they have a great match and Newcastle has to get fight for the win then Newcastle should be tired. If Tbilisi isnt much of a challenge then Newcastle probably wont be that tired for Sunday.

Well Newcastle beat Dinamo Tbilisi 2-0 in the UEFA Cup today. A goal in the first half by Shearer and one in the second half by Bellamy sealed the deal. Fulham is next. I hope they are tired!

Well Newcastle probably wont be tired. It was Cole or Volz who said they have 2 days to rest. They beat Tbilisi 2-0 and it was probably an easy 2-0.2 days is a long time to rest so there probably wont be a big advantage for Fulham.

I do not remember Claus getting injured this much when he was at Charlton. It sounds like he is just having some bad luck. It is unfortunate!

It sounds like a 4-5-1 with the usual suspects in their places. The only slight change is that Collins John is in for Radzinski on one of the wings. Hopefully this lineup works!

Well, the Collins John experiment worked so far. He scored a goal and it is 1-0 Fulham in the first half. My fingers are crossed!
