FC Porto pass the inferno of Belgrade, know they will play Benfica, and then they will take care of business against Real Madrid

I watch the Real Madrid vs Marselha, and I have to agree with Carlos Queiroz the defense for Real Madrid is weak and can be beat, Porto got no weakness and are capable of beat this overpaid and over the hill gang

Yes, Real Madrid's defense is pretty weak and can be beaten but their attack is very danger, one of the best there is and Porto has to be very carefull because Madrid allways seems to score more goals than their oponents and that is what it matters in the end.

If Porto doesn't get any points against Madrid your gonna be behind in the standings early because I think Marseille will get 3 pts. against Partizan. I thought Porto might finish ahead of Marseille in the end but after they failed to get 3 pts. against Partizan I'm not so sure now.

Let’s face it. This group is a race for second place. If Porto can take a point at Marseille and win at home, then it will be smooth sailing onto the next round. I don’t think any team can plan on taking points from Madrid. I am not saying that it can’t be done, but it will be difficult.

As long at Porto beats marseille then they're in for sure. And Marseille is gonna have a tough time against Partizan at home

FC Porto passed today a tough test in Guimaraes, probably the only portuguese team to do it, a win in Guimaraes is a big deal.
Will starter preparing the game with Real Madrid,, twomorrow, after a good night sleep, and then will have is team ready for the Wednesday game, Porto will play like Porto, on the offensive, just like the game with AC Milan for the Supercup, he also said if any team can beat Real Madrid in the CL its the Porto team.

Real Madrid defense is weak (at least compared to rest of the team), so there is a chance that FC Porto can score. If the defense can hold Real Madrid attack efficiently, Porto can dream with a victory or a draw. If Porto´s defense fails, we will witness a massacre.

I don't think that I'd call Real's defense weak so much as thin. If someone important goes out for a long period of time, they're in trouble. They really didn't have the depth to loose Makalele to start with. And now that he's with Chelsea things are worse.

midfielders will be Costinha,Bonsigwa [Pedro Mendes] Maniche, Deco, Derlei either McCarthy[or Jankauskas]. Don't see Porto change his team for Real Madrid, they going to attack. 4X4X2

a tied between this two teams will be great for Porto, Porto got the hard schedule, they play away at Partizan and Marselha, and at home against Real Madrid.

Mourinho is coming out with a pretty defensive lineup with Costinha, Maniche, Mendes and Fernandes in the midfield, and Deco pairing with Derlei up top. I guess he figures Deco and Derlei on Pavon-Bravo is a matchup that significantly favors Porto, while the extra reinforcements in the middle may slow down Real’s vaunted attack.
