Just an update, Malaga beats Sevilla 2-0 on goals by Duda and Salva. On Dario Silva's return to Malaga, he was harrassed by the crowd (deservedly, he insulted the fans of Malaga after leaving, saying that they weren't first division fans, that the majority of them didn't even cheer for the team, punk..) and failed to score.:)

Good game for Malaga though, who continues to be strong at home and weak on the road.

Juande Ramos is doing a great job at Malaga considering some of the key players that left the team last summer. After a rought start he is doing what was expected of him and after 10 games he has Malaga tied with Betis at 13 points ahead of Sevilla with 12. Not bad for a team with a budget that is 50% of the Betis budget! Lopera was a fool to let Juande go when he got Betis in the UEFA and wanted some more money!

Saludos y viva er beti manque lopera!

I couldn´t have said it better. Malaga was one of my early picks for relagation. Now they are looking like they could have a chance at UEFA. Ramos has always coached his teams to hight accomplishments then their talent would indicate. You don´t know how happy I was to see Lopera let him go.

Yeah Qdog rumor had it you and Caparros were seen along the Avenida Palmera crying with joy after he finished cleaning out his office, knowing that it would be another couple of years at least until Betis defeats Sevilla in a Derby! ;>)
