i thought that stewart deliverd a ball to petke's head and then ben scored on the rebound off the crossbar. the new york post made it sound like cerritos delivered the ball. i was there but may be mistaken.
not to further nitpick, but goff also says it was 'cerritos first goal in a united shirt' or something close to that. actually he scored in wilmington.
Re: From the NY Piss... Ursula you are absolutely right. Not one player on the Metros, with the exception of maybe Pope, showed up to play last night. They just went through the motions. However, I still believe that sliding a younger Forchetti into the lineup for the Metros would be better, because Addo can't go a full 90.
