    Scoreless at the half.

One mention of SC in Hannover's text comm, just that he suffered a foul.

With a point just extra time away, Klose scores...1-0, K'lautern.

Was none of Hannover's good games. The crucial scenes:

88' Kaiserslautern pushes as they desperately needed the win. An uncontrolled cross flies to the box and Hristov tries to jump in, but all he manages is a ruthless foul, for which he should have been ejected. Some trouble comes to exist in this scene with Cherundolo being involved in it.

Stoppage time: a long ball finds Hristov, who passes on to Klose. Hannover successfully uses the offside trap, but the assistant doesn't raise his flag and so Cherundolo is late against Klose for the game winner.

So, bad luck for Hannover, who would have travelled home with a point if the ref had seen one of the two crucial situations correctly.

    Highlights

From the highlights it was not possible to see if Klose was offside but we take your word for it Olaf. It was visible to see that it was not a matter of whether Steve was too small to cover Klose as many would like to speculate. Finally the "lollipop" header from Klose was a joke that the Hanover keeper should have never let in. From my view of highlights this year if you take the keeper out of the equation and insert a quality one Hanover has at least 4 more points.

They still have that guy? I can't understand it whatsoever. Criminy. That guy would be sitting in MLS, probably for the rest of the year for the mistakes I saw in the opening matches -- and that's in a league with squads about 1/2 the size and probably financed 1/4 the money. Hannover must have enough resources to buy someone of quality from somewhere.

    Two different guys.

The first keeper was Tremmel, who closed out last season pretty good. He had the first faux pas, giving way to Marc Ziegler, who they brought in from Austria Vienna in the offseason.

This past weekend was his third straight game, I believe. He got 3's in each game from Kicker.

I have not seen anyone speculate that Dolo was too small to have stop this particular goal. Please clarify what you mean, if you can.

This goal was not due to Cherundolo's size, he was simply late as they played on offside.

To be fair to Ziegler - he was bad in this crucial scene, but he kept Hannover in the game before with plenty of good saves. That's also how kicker explained his 3.

The goal was offside, that's for sure. Kicker rated the ref 5 for not realising the offside situation and not sending out Hristov before.
