    Wisconsin 2, Ohio State 0
Reserves Nick Van Sticklin and David Martinez (assisted by Van Sticklin) each scored as Wisconsin improves to 11-9-1 and advances to face host and top-seed Indiana. OSU (4-12-4) mercifully has their season end.

In the big upset of the day, Northwestern shocked second-seed Michigan 2-1. The Wildcats (7-6-6) hadn't won a Big Ten game since 1999 (though they went 0-3-3 this year) while Michigan (13-6) was ranked and just trying to improve their standing for the NCAA Tournament. Will Nicholas and Gerardo Alvarez (who should be the Big Ten freshmen of the year) scored for NW while Knox Cameron scored for Michigan in what was likely his last game as a Wolverine.

Penn State 2, Michigan State 1
In a milder upset, Chad Severs and Kenji Treschuk scored for the Nits, Thomas Trivelloni for the Spartans. Penn State (8-10-0) advances to play Northwestern in the semis. MSU, which really could have used this W to help their NCAA chances, must sweat it out till Monday at 4.

Sandon: Were you there? Just wondering.

Also, don't leave out Jed Zayner for frosh of the year. Has been the key to a young but talented back line for IU.
