With the loss of star Winger Joao Fajardo to Vitoria Guimaraes expect former Sporting Winger Pimenta to fill in the gap. After selling key players such as Nei (Who was their Top Goalscorer) to Bulgarian record title holders CSKA Sofia their front line will be operated by Saulo and Mecedonian International Wandier. Naval who only have 2 Points so far are currently in the lower half of the table in 13th place with the sales of Valdir and Nei the team look down and out.

Benfica on the other hand have 5 points and their last game was a 3-0 riot in Funchal against CD Nacional.

Benfica's last encounter at home to Naval came in a 2-1 win against them with Naval scoring 1st stunning the Benfica crowd.

The game is tomorrow, don't know what time but probably around 8:00 pm London time, so do your maths :p

And if that's what you wanted to know Adu is almost definately going to be called. If we find ourselves winning by more than 1 goal (unlikely) he'll probably even get some minutes.

I live in the states of course and didn't know a lot about Benfica, just watched them in some of the champions league games, of course I knew who Simao, Nuno Gomes, and Luisao was, but the team seems to get going through some transformation, yeah since Adu joined I've had no choice, but watch them more closely, National Team thing, hoping the US will get better, watching them play and still seeing them only scoring from dead ball situations... I don't think our national team is great, I think we're alright and I try to monitor some of our younger players in hopes that they develop and are able to help get better... of course adu makes the list... I try to keep up with Altidore also... Hopefully they'll pull it out and he can get some minutes...

The game is this Saturday at 4PM EST.

I think Camacho may rest some of the players for Tuesday's CL game against AC Milan. So maybe, just maybe, you'll see your favorite MLS player of all times, Freddy Adu, in the game.

Freddy Adu is not in the lineup.

Just where is everybody? Rui Costa scores a musical goal and there's no one here to comment it?

We've got the 3 points, time to rest our players for San Siro (rest Rui Costa or i'll rip your head off Camacho!).

We've been playing quite well, I'm liking it. Of course, Naval is showing to be a very weak team.

What part of resting players doesn't Camcho understand. 3 goals over Naval and no substitutions with about 15 minutes left. Like Rui Costa couldn't use the rest. Petit getting injured. Just great:(

Benfica definitely played their best game so far this season, it's a good sign. Everyone played well, especially Di Maria (who in my opinion was the player of the game), Rui Costa, Petit, Katsouranis, and Leo. Unfortunately Petit left the game injured, hopefully he is ok though. I think Camacho's effect on this team is starting to show, as they seem quicker, and their passes are much more crisp. It's a good win and performance to have before facing Milan on Tuesday and hopefully today's game carries over and they put on a good performance and come out of the San Siro with three points.

AC Milan rested players like Kaka, Seedorf, Pirlo, from their Serie A game with Siena and they tied 1-1.

I must say, that Di Maria was impressive and Rui Costa continues to show he still has some magic left. Looks like Camacho has corrected the ship...at least temporarily.

The first twenty minutes of the game were absolute crap for Benfica. Once the Onion got the opener they settled down and played a bit more relaxed. There was better passing and of course a world class goal thrown in there. Let's hope they continue this 3-0 result this Tuesday. :D

I was impressed by the display of João Ribeiro, left winger of Naval. Did anyone felt the same?

Rui Costa has been playing the old Fifas :p

Yes, that João Ribeiro was quite impressive, had never heard about him before though. How old is he?
