Hey fellow Nutmeggers...I'm planning to head up to the Razor on Nov. 9...not that I have tickets yet or anything. Anyone else out there want to ride up together, maybe even get a block of seats together?
Gooner, Although I am heading to the game from CT. I am going to make a weekend of it in Beantown. Typically I would help you out. Hope you get up there to hopefully watch another Metroscum beating.
CT??? You mean the NY extension?!?!?!? HAHHAHAHAHA Party Girl and Elmcity brewcrew know who I am.....and the battle for CT is ongoing. But who will be victorious in the end....MA or NY??? We shall see...... See you guys Saturday! Spazz
NY extension.....yeah you are soooooo funny! YOu don't ever quit with that crap do you. I never EVER hear the end of it.
I am quite funny! In fact, I sit here right now, literally laughing out loud at myself! I am such a comic! hahahahahahahahahahaha Spazz
While Spazzz is risking the possibility of dying of his own laughter, I wanted to say that I will be driving up from the New London area for the game Sunday, so if anyone needs a ride, let me know. The catch is that I won't be going back there (I live in Mass) so perhaps you could get a ride back with someone else. Tom
Spazz is simply regurgitating the same old drivel about Conn. Sure, Fairfield County is home to some NY fans, but by and large the rest of the state is solidly Boston fans. NY extension? Rhode Island is more like NY than Conn is. Can you say "don't drop the soap, Mayor Buddy"?
Just to clear up any misunderstanding, I am a female! I also grew up in CT and there is some personal silly stuff between me and a few other CTers on here. I am not purposefully insulting the state or anyone from it; just having a laugh at their expense. They understand. And I grew up in New Britain, CT which is central CT, and the joke I always grew up with was that southwestern CT (Greenwich, Darien, Stamford, etc) were more a part of NY than anything. In actuality, in many polls it has been determiend that the fandom in CT is divided pretty evenly, with northeastern and southeastern CT favoring the Boston area teams, central CT splitting for Boston/NY, and northwestern and southwestern CT favor NY. See? Growing up there has its privilege because I am privy to the local newspaper polls! Spazz
That's cool. I understand the Fairfield County residents commute to Stamford now and very few actually go all the way into NYC any more. Seems the corporations have all moved out of the city. I was in Salisbury (Litchfield County) last month and I counted more Red Sox hats than Yankees, but that doesn't mean anything as I see more NY caps here in Maine than anything else. It always feels good to beat NY teams no matter what the sport.
