It's not a "Full-International" as Jack likes to say, one national side vs. a domestic league all-star team. Kind of like when the US played that premiership team a few years back, the opponent has to be a senior level national team for it to count as a "cap"

Hi this is JAck Edwards alongside Ty Keough and I want to welcome you all to this half-international, the MLS All-Star game, an exhibition between the US National Team and the MLS All-Stars. This isn't the full-international you're used to seeing the national team play as they are playing an exhibition against a league all-star team and not another national team. Just to clear things up, this is not a full-international.

There ya go Jack. Now you've got you opener. you're welcome.

Actually, this is probably about what Jack will say:

Hello again everybody, this is Jack Edwards alongside Ty Keough, and welcome to our National's Capital for the MLS All-Star game. A full-int...er...exhibtion between MLS' best and a team of US stars that highlight some of US Soccer's past, present, and future. Joining us down on field level is Veronica Paysee, what have you got for us Veronica?

That should be somewhat close to what Jack will be sputtering on Saturday.

    No, this is Jack Edwards:
Welcome to the Nation's capital and it will be a thrilling homecoming for the great fans of soccer in the United States. This exhibition will showcase some of the best talent from the US World Cup team that rode the glory of the red white and blue and the coat tails of Uncle Sam and his army all the way to the quarterfinals, shocking the world who will take on MLS. We are here in Washington, the District of Columbia, where the President resides, where freedom is fully embraced from the Mall to the Washington Monument to here at RFK, where the GDP is low, humidity takes it toll here in what they call the dog days of summer and the major religions here in the capital region are christianity, judiaism, and islam. We can't forget that in this pluralistic city, freedom is why we are here getting ready for what is called an exhibition. Remember folks, the World Cup drew a whopping 89 million here..thanks to Me- Jack Schmuck.

Great post, BaltimoreYankFan, but I'm pretty sure that the US climbed the ladder to the quarterfinals.

Not to mention a few torpedo headers along the way.

I'd like Lewis Black from the Daily Show to watch a game and offer up his opinions on the ineptitude of our broadcasting group(other than The Stoner of course).
