Ahn could be loaned to a J-League club temporarily

when a player is loaned out, do they get paid?

 

Wait, isn't the transfer window a FIFA thing? Or is it just a UEFA thing? And does it bar a LOAN or just outright transfers?

Regardless, anything that gets Ahn playing is a good thing. It's a waste to see talent like that unused.

 

The chance Ahn going to J-league clubs is very slim.
Both clubs Perugia and Busan are still fighting for Ahn's right, and since all transfer attempts were failed, they gotta wait FIFA's decision.

its just one of those rumor thing, probably Ahn's agent is just trying j-league clubs to see their reactions.

 

I thought Perugia bought him outright after the loan last year. Is Busan trying to get him back or something? From what I know, Perugia has the rights to Ahn and they tried to sell him off to Blackburn Rovers, but the stupid-@$$ British gov. didn't allow him to play due to some rule about playing in 75% of the national team's games. That same rule spiked Alex of Japan and Qu Bo of China's chances of playing in England.

 

Ahn wouldn't have seen any playing time at Blackburn anyways. Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Grabbi, and and their Spanish striker whose name escapes me at the moment are all better than him.

 

korean news papers are also saying he might be going to germany at the end of this year

so its play in J-league for about two years then go, or wait til end of this year and go to germany.

It isnt a rumour. Ahn already signed a contract with a sports management company in Japan. This was reported in all the Japanese newspapers today. I will have a story up on the RSN in a few hours.

Of course, the contract doesnt guarantee that he will move to the J.League, but it DOES mean that he is actually paying money to someone, to try to negotiate him a trade to a J.League club. According to the reports, it would just be a six-month transfer agreement and he would be free to move to Europe after December. But I think this would be fabulous news both for Ahn and for the League. Especially for some of the teams in Kansai, signing Ahn could double their attendance overnight. It would be verrrrrrrrr. . .ry interesting to see what might happen to Kyoto Purple Sanga if they had Park and Ahn together in offensive midfield.

At the moment, though, the two most likely clubs for signing him are Tokyo Verdy and FC Tokyo. Both clubs have the money, the exposure and the fact that he would be playing in Tokyo, which might be his intention.

 

Wow. Great news. Let's hope things work out and he's out on the pitch and playing (for anyone!) ASAP. He isn't getting any better by not playing.

Is Ahn popular in Japan? After the Korea v Germany game I saw these group of Japanese people all dressed up in the their Germany gear wating for the subway then the funny thing was when the train actually came the train was a Puma adverstisement with Ahn as the model. they all stopped talking and took pics with it so it made me think...

is ahn that popular?

Of course! He is a HUGE star in Japan.
Just because some (note: "some") Koreans hate Japan, and cant say anything nice about Japanese players, you shouldnt assume that it is the same way in Japan. The vast majority of Japanese football fans are very interested in Korean players, and they consider Koreans "heroes" for showing the strength of Asia. There might be a handful of people who still hold a grudge, but as one of my Korean-Japanese friends noted: "For Koreans, doing better than Japan is more important than life or death. For Japanese, nobody could care less if Korea does better. They are just happy to see Asians doing well."

After the world cup, lots of people went to Purple Sanga matches only to see Park Ji-Sung. Even people who have no interest in football!. As for Ahn, he is viewed as an idol by all the young women, and there have been lots of TV special reports about him, especially right after the World Cup. In places like Kobe or Kyoto, where the usual attendance is only about 9,000, Im sure there are at least an additional 9,000 people who would come to see Ahn. Plus, considering the large number of Koreans living in Kansai, I bet if Ahn went to play for Kobe or Kyoto, the attendance would TRIPLE, at least for the first few matches.

I'm glad to hear that Ahn is an idol in Japan!

Of course Koreans still do hold grudges against the Japanese but I've seen numerous TV shows that said Koreans should start moving along even though all Korea wants is an apology. I, personally don;t hate Japan or regard them as the enemy but I won't deny that I still wanted Korea doing better than Japan. I guess only time can cure the bloodshed between the 2 nations.

I just wish Ahn could play in the J.League even if its for a short period of time. Do you see it happening?

 

Perugia loaned Ahn, then they could choose to keep him or not(to complete trasnfer, Perugia gotta pay Busan 1.6milion $)
Perugia gave a notice to Busan on june 30th to keep Ahn but they didnt pay any money to Busan.

In J.League, the team of the 15th place and the 16th place is demoted to J2.

I don't care less of Japanese people's reactions. I just feel it is injustice if Ahn has to goto J-League when he has scored WC goals against Italy, USA and Spain.

I think that he cannot play an active part even if Ahn which failed in SeriaA transfers to J.League.
It is a correct answer that he chose not K league but J.League.
Playing in the league of a higher level will become an experience good for him.

Japanese people are not South Koreans. Many Japanese are not disagreeable in South Koreans, and do not like it, either.
Japanese people do not have different feeling to South Koreans and the people from Taiwan.
Although it is a South Korean and is the people from Taiwan, J.League and Japanese people welcome an excellent player.

 

Ahn should not goto J-League. He deserve better.
