There is no perfect way to do these rankings or All ____ teams. You could do like Hollywood and have 2 sets of awards. One voted on by the fans, a sorta' People's Choice team. IMO the better way would be a coaches list with one small caveat. The coach or his designate cannot vote any of his/her players onto the all star team. They essentially would be voting on an all opponent team. Now nationally speaking, that would be impractical. For that a blue ribbon panel of experts across the nation similar to the way College football does the Playoff. Again, I don't comprehend how the USCA can vote UVA behind Duke and Clemson.
