Kim somehow can be lucky that he didn’t make Aachen’s matchday roster as some players surely did not improve their positions in Aachen’s 1:7 road loss at Greuther Fürth.

Kim btw is the only Yank in the roster add-on since kicker published their season magazine. His data:
13 Chuck Kim, 25.1.1984, USA, 1.72m (about 5’7”), 65 kg, previous clubs: Pittsburgh Riverhounds, no 2.Bundesliga game

Another Ami-meeting happened in the game Cottbus vs Osnabrück. Berhalter’s team achieved an easy 3:0 win. Both Yanks were rated 3 – Enochs is best Osnabrück player with this rating.

Casey is playing tonight with Karlsruhe in Bielefeld.

Casey starts, this time with a new forward colleague as Saenko is injured. 21 year old Jan Männer, on loan from Freiburg, replaces him. Kickoff is in a few minutes.

    HT 2-0 for Bielefeld.

Game started really boring, the first dangerous scene of the game was the 1-0 in the 21st. A few minutes later Casey had Karlsruhe's first chance with a 11m header after a free kick, but the ball was too close to the keeper to be really dangerous.

Next major scene was a foul at the sideline that forced Casey to listen to some loud words of the ref (wasn't booked though). The game got better with Casey moving more and more back to the playmaker role as the forwards didn't get useful balls before.

A long and high cross to the 5m box cared for a wrong evaluation by the ref: Casey stood there and jumped up to block the view for the goalie, who came out and tried to catch the ball. Due to Casey he didn't hit it properly and he caused an air ball that he avoided by clearly holding Casey down. The ref whistled and gave free kick for Bielefeld as he wanted to have seen a Casey-foul in the first jump, but indeed he didn't touch the keeper - must have been pk for Karlsruhe instead of free kick for Bielefeld.

Last scene was directly before halftime when Casey lost the ball and the counter attack was converted to the 2-0 half time score.

Before I go offline, this was the announcers' comment a minute ago: "Conor Casey - for me Karlsruhe's best player so far. He's always ready to get the ball, works a lot - the center definitely is not the reason why Karlsruhe is trailing by two"

Just to update 3-1 to Bielefeld. Doesn't seem like Casey was involved.
