Bolton go up 1-0. Sounds like Keller may have coughed up a shot -- although announcer didn't exactly blame him. Says Bolton deserve to be ahead.

Okocha tearing up Spurs defense -- sets up a shot -- Keller beaten but saved by the woodwork.

Soccernet's gamecast has Bolton with 25(!) shots, 15 on goal. KK with 12 saves. Jeez!

I'm a little suprised they don't have 15 shots on goal and Keller with 18 saves :p
(of course the math is already just as bad... 15 shots on goal, 12 saves, 1 goal against... something is missing) hehe

kidding aside, it looks like Bolton were quite happy to take shot after shot today.

Looking at the shot chart from the GameTracker, its amazing that almost all the shots were from the 18 and beyond. Looks like Spurs were willing to give them the long range shots.

a couple shots cleared off the line by a defender, perhaps?

The goal that Kasey allowed (not a great pic, but could suggest some evidence to back up the announcer's observations)...

Still, this makes just two goals that Keller has allowed since the managerial change at Spurs. But both have been clangers, in a manner of speaking.

Saw the EPL highlight show tonight, and...

    This was indeed the case.

Keller can't be blamed for this, more of a "bad luck" thing than anything else, although Spurs' defenders weren't quick enough to react as well.

Jay Jay Okchoa (who hit the post three times as well) drove a hard shot against Keller in the 73rd minute, but the shot was too hard for Kasey to hold, to be honest. And it wound up going straight to Nolan, who scored on the rebound.

Jay Jay's three shots against the woodwork may fill in the gaps on the math there.
