If you're planning on watching this match on TV but don't have Comcast, "você é fodido."
[Finally, the Red Sox shouldn't even think of firing Grady Little! This message has been brought to you by a lifelong Yankees fan.]

REVOLUTION at METROSTARS TO BE TELEVISED ON CN8 THIS SATURDAY AT 7:30 p.m.
Revs Play Conference Rivals With Crucial Playoff Seeding on the Line

The New England Revolution at MetroStars game this Saturday, October 18 will
air live at 7:30 p.m. on CN8 (Comcast) and WRKO 680-AM.

The Revolution beat D.C. United in overtime on Saturday, October 11 to
improve to 10-9-9 on the season and secure a berth in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
The Revs are now unbeaten in their last five games (4-0-1) and are in
position to clinch second place in the Eastern Conference and home field
advantage in the Conference Semifinals with at least a win and a draw in
their final two matches of the regular season.

The Revs' next home game and final regular season match of 2003 is on
Saturday, October 25, also versus the MetroStars; tickets are still
available for that match. Tickets for the MLS Cup Playoffs at Gillette
Stadium are on sale as well. Call 1-877-GET-REVS for tickets or more
    information.

FSNE has a Celtics exhibition game, and Channel 56 would rather show reruns of Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond, followed by something called the World Music Awards, which might have made sense in an alternate universive where they would desperately need non-sports programming to put up against the Red Sox. Or were they just being foolishly optimistic?

And what of the half a dozen people in greater Boston who would rather watch the Rutgers-Syracuse soccer game that ComCast originally scheduled for that slot?

If the Evil Empire wins, they should vote shares to Grady and that guy from the Rangers whose homerun won the Allstar Game.

Incorrect information as the game is also being broadcasted on FSW.

As of 2:45PM, MLSnet is saying the game is on Fox Sports. It wouldn't make any sense just to have the game on CN8, ComCast doesn't all of the Boston area. I have RCN, its the only service my high rise is wired for, and we're not the only ones.

Thank god RCN has Fox Sports.

the game is on Comcast locally and it is also on Fox Sports World. The Revolution only want to promote the Comcast station because it is a local partner and MLS wants to promote FSW because it is a league partner.

ECBC, my FIL lives in Milford, and I'm pretty sure he gets FSNE. Different cable companies?

I believe Milford is different from New Haven. I'm in Madison and get Comcast (used to be ATT, before that, TCI). My folks in Milford have an entirely different system, but I don't know who the provider is.

ATT bagged FNSE about two years ago. I was hoping Comcast would add it back in, but I guess it's more valuable to them as a blank blue screen.

FSW is on digital cable and some of the higher priced plans, but not basic or expanded.
