Regarding the time the game starts, I assume 7ish as that was the time games started on FSC when I had it.

Regarding LFC, I was partial to them for a time. When I was first starting to learn how to enjoy soccer, one of my influences from Liverpool and a LFC fan. So when I bought my first scarf, it was LFC. I remember fodly watching them win UEFA Cup back in 2001

But I felt it was to much of a bandwagon move, rooting for such a successful team, so I moved on in 2005 to Sheffield United. And have looked back frequently.

Re Phoenix Rising

I asked over on the Revs board and that was the bar they recommended which is in Cambridge. It's between Harvard and MIT there. You can Google it and it'll show up. My wife had a hissy when I first suggested this but I am going to push some more. I know we are going to do many things which I abhor (spousal compromise keeps a marriage fresh!) but I need my fix, especially on the first day of the Prem season.

We'll probably end up in Maine too at some point. Have a great time if I don't see you.

I am going to be in the Boston area next weekend in the area of Somerville. I am attempting to get a way for an early Premiership match and wanted to know if you are in anywhere in the area (I have been told Boston is now a sprawling metropolis and not a Puritan outpost. That's what I get for not paying attention after 4th grade social studies)

Anyway, if you were going to be in the nighborhood of Phoenix Rising, that'd be alright. If you wanted to sleep in or work your Saturday's away like a good young lawyer, you are dead to me.

No, just kidding. I understand. I am not even sure if i am going because my wife is frowning on my venture but if I have to go to the beach, I am watching soccer.
