Ugh, well, can't win 'em all. Four in a row was already pretty good, but I admit I did have some hopes for this six-pointer. I still think we're in a good position, though!

Good comeback to grab a draw yesterday! Would have been a better result had it been on the road, but I'm pleased nonetheless.

I wouldn't have minded if we had picked up a veteran defender. But Khumalo looks to be decent and I'm hoping Manset keeps trending upwards. I really liked what little I saw of him last season.

You know, neither do I, as much as I love Feds and think he's going to have a great career. On the other hand, though, if Reading do go up maybe Feds deserves a chance to earn a starting job, if only because McCarthy's only 21.

Seriously, dude? This is out of line. We've all said things in the heat of the moment that we don't mean, and it's really quite rude to track down my statements during the pre-WC fiasco. As you know, I wasn't the only one who got caught up in the hype. Yet I've somehow become a scapegoat.

But, yes, you're correct that I've been all over the map re Davies. I was in a bad accident myself a while back, and I feel for people who go through these sorts of things. Combine that with the fact that he's my favorite player, and voila, you get some major irrationality.

At least I've had the gall to admit that I was off base a while back.

But in the future, I'd appreciate more constructive criticism, rather than mean-spirited public humiliation.
