I'd been meaning to answer for a while, it seemed such a genuine question to ponder over. A lot has happened with football and communications since I started watching the game. In fact the day I made my mind up to actively support and follow the team was seeing my very first televized football match. The 1950 FA Cup final. In blury black & white. In fact better than some of todays streams. Liverpool lost 2-0 to Arsenal and the next season we went down to the 2nd division, there we languished until Billy Shankley came along.

Y'no I really enjoyed Oz in the short time I was there. Of course the first weekend we were there we had to go swimming and body surfing at Bondi didn't we? My mate lost his front teeth (false ones!) when he dumped dumped and rolled by a good wave and we've had this running joke ever since about this shark wearing his choppers and attacking people......:)
Yep, and as obnoxious as ever, see my post on the poll..! Got in at 2 am after a month tootling around Mexico, fantastic place, we're looking at getting a house there. Spent today looking at the rain and wind while wearing several layers of fleece...reinforcing the idea:)

Now that might be worth coming out for, now we need the season to start. Mind you I was pretty jazzed up with last years start...and then it went downhill from there to fighting the bitters for 4th spot. Perhaps the Keano will help cure that 4th place crap.

Been a busy time Cap. Changed companys, had my daughter and her gang visit from China, lost me old mum and have been enjoying the weather and going out sailing on my San Juan 7.7 sailboat. Tough life, just cant let yourself weaken.... :) Got to catch up and see if we really have bought anyone of importance and get geared up for the coming season.
