Well, I love the drinking part, but let me tell you this... for me at least... after I started brewing it increased my awareness of ingridients and gave me better appreciation for beer. In the few first batches my buddy and I made, we tasted the raw grains, the raw hops, then we tasted the brew before fermentation, both before and after hops... and in all those things you can sense a little or parts of that "beer flavor" so later on when you drink a good one, you can taste that stuff a bit more clearly...we once made a Belgian Summer Ale, kinda like a chimay combined with a blue moon but all the flavors on roids, that was good shit, our best batch... anyway, just reminiscing of happy days happy drinking /p
Right on, I just bought some new Copas and I'm wearing them around the house! :D Any thoughts on location? If we did it in OC, we could maybe get more of the San Diego contingent ... and my drive would be shorter, haha! Anyway, we need to do this! Keep me I'm the loop!
