Read these post upwards from kid is at IMS sorryjust tossin it out there. Cost nothing. Tell them where he's playing. We were very tight...I miss our kid so much every day but can see marked improvement in many of his outlooks. Except calling home. Some of these schools coaches out there are really awesome it's worth a shot

His mom and him toured several. Beyond that were hoping internet college, Wouldn't hurt for you to send some films and letters to newengland prepschools. They are acquiring talent with financial aid packages. extra year of school !! better college entry exams and chances..

They got beat once or twice but he didn't. Hasn't gotten any taller 5'6" but now is just over 180. It's a lot harder to put him in a headlock these days. Academically it looks like he will make it into one of newengland prepschools.

Nearly all their games were against other ninth grader JV teams made up of kids who are also repeating 9th grade. He had a decimating year, game after game got tons of goals and ran through people that he hadn't been able to do in a while.

Kid is at IMS loves it ...now playing basketball. No cellphone or on line all day only two hours a night they get it. Lots of study. Playing with his own age instead of kids four of five years older is a lot more fun.

He's leving this summer as open as possible for being with friends because ODP will be a big timesuk "If" he progresses.
I was asking about local Connecticut clubs as he might be going to Indian Mnt where many Berkshire faculty brats have to go before they can take advantage of the faculty/child benefit

That trial is this weekend in white plains I'll let you know. J's psyched to give up 4 years of free prep and likely an ivy league ride with a tremendous passion to play anywhere. He is even up for learning Portuguese.

      rhrh,

How did the trial go for your child in the UK run by a private company?

My boy is over there and is doing one tomorrow with with a private company. Not really holding my breath as I've heard very mixed reviews. We signed up with them as he wants to try whatever he can to get noticed by a team.

Have you had any luck finding trials?

      Best of luck.

      Coach J
